Easy way of positioning 3D objects in NX

Today I will present how to reposition your solid models easily and precisely.

Before we start, you need to know that in NX we have separate commands to manipulate geometries which exists in your Work Part, which is “Move Object”:

And separate command, to manipulate assembly components: “Move Component”

 

Both of them have similar methods of moving part. My favorite and most commonly used is “Dynamic”. But today I want to show another one, which can make positioning much faster. This transformation method is “CSYS to CSYS“. Instead of describing every step, I will just show on a movie how it works on two examples:
